Acorn Squash stuffed with spicy pork sausage and Crimini mushrooms

Recipe Ingredients for Mushroom and Pork stuffed Acorn Squash

2 Squash, Winter, Acorn
3 cups cremini mushrooms
1/2 lb pork sausage
1 tbs Olive oil
1/2 tbs red pepper flakes

Recipe Directions for Mushroom and Pork stuffed Acorn Squash

  1. preheat oven to 350

  2. half squash ans remove seeds

  3. chop mushrooms into medium size pieces

  4. remove casing from sausage

  5. mix mushrooms and sausage in a bowl with red pepper flakes and vegetable oil

  6. fill squash and wrap with aluminum foil

  7. place on a baking sheet on center rack

  8. cook for 1 hour or until squash is soft
