Recipe Ingredients for Mushroom Orzo

8 oz Orzo Dry
1 onion Yellow Onion
1/4 tbsp Olive Oil
8 oz Shitake Mushrooms
1 dash Salt, Table
1 dash Pepper, Black
2 tbsp Parsley, Dried
1 tbsp Parmesan, Grated Cheese

Recipe Directions for Mushroom Orzo

  1. Cook orzo according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under

  2. cold water.

  3. Saute onions slowly in oil in a small pan. Cover with a

  4. tightly fitting lid, stirring often until the onions are translucent.

  5. Add mushrooms and saute until wilted, covering the pan if they look

  6. dry. Season with salt , pepper and parsley.

  7. Add the orzo to the

  8. mushroom mixture, stir briefly to reheat. Toss in Parmesan cheese.
