An easy topping for cornmeal pizza dough and Ellen's pizza sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Mushroom & Olive Pizza Topping

8 oz. mushrooms, chopped
1/3 c. onions, chopped
1 large tomato, chopped
1/4 c. Kalamata olives, chopped
1 c. (Sargento) cheese, Reduced Fat 4 Cheese Italian Shredded Cheese
2 tbsp. olive oil

Recipe Directions for Mushroom & Olive Pizza Topping

  1. In olive oil, sautee all ingredients except for the cheese until the mushroom and onions have softened (about 10 minutes).

  2. Spoon mixture on top of pizza crust (with pizza sauce spread on it... see separate recipe).

  3. Sprinkle with cheese.

  4. Cook for 12-14 minutes at 350 until crust is slightly brown on the edges.
