Recipe Ingredients for Mushroom, Chicken and Sausage Casserole

12 ounce chicken breast, cooked and diced
1 pound turkey sausage
1 T. chopped onion
5 oz. sliced mushrooms
8 oz. reduced fat cream cheese, room temperature
16 oz. frozen cauliflower
3/4 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese, 2% fat, shredded
3/4 cup fat-free cheddar cheese, shredded
1 salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Mushroom, Chicken and Sausage Casserole

  1. Brown turkey sausage with onions and mushrooms.

  2. Stir the softened cream cheese into the sausage mixture.

  3. Cook the cauliflower and coarsely chop it.

  4. Mix all of the ingredients together and put in casserole dish and cover with foil.

  5. Bake for about 30 minutes.

  6. Remove foil and cook another 10 minutes until the top is lightly browned.
