Appetizer from Eastern Europe. Serve with bread. Season with salt, pepper, and dill.

Recipe Ingredients for Mushroom Caviar

2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion
2 garlic cloves
1 lb mushrooms
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp sour cream

Recipe Directions for Mushroom Caviar

  1. Prepare oil in medium heat skillet. Add onion and garlic. Cook until softened (about 5 mins). Add mushrooms. Raise heat to medium high. Cook until brown (about 10 mins).

  2. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream and lemon juice. Season with salt, pepper, and dill.
