Recipe Ingredients for Mushroom Barley Bake

1 lg. onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tbs. margarine
3 c. water
1 tbs. chicken bouillon granules
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. pearl barley
1 tbs. fresh parsley, minced

Recipe Directions for Mushroom Barley Bake

  1. Saute onion and mushrooms in butter until tender.

  2. Add water, bouillon, salt, and pepper. Mix well and bring to a boil. Add barley and parsley. Pour into a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 80 - 90 minutes or until the barley is tender.
