(Ok, its my wifes, not mine :)) A great quick taco salad for people on the run.

Recipe Ingredients for Muric's Quick Taco Salad

2 Flour tortillas 10"
16 ounce ground beef
18 ounce salad
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
6 oz olives
1/4 cup taco seasoning

Recipe Directions for Muric's Quick Taco Salad

  1. Cut tortillas in half, cut into strips. Warm a pan with the vegetable oil. Fry the tortilla strips until lightly gold. Let drain on a paper towel. Sprinkle with seasoning or leave plain.

  2. Brown ground beef. Drain and rince once. Return to pan and add the taco seasoning and 3/4 cup water. Let simmer until it thickens (about 10 minutes).

  3. Put salad, olives, and beef into a large mixing bowl. Break up the chips into the mix. Toss and enjoy!

  4. We like to add a little bit of salsa and ranch dressing on top when served.
