batter of mung and chana dal with cumin seeds, coriander leaves and green chillies is easy to cook and yummy to eat!

Recipe Ingredients for mung-chana dosa

1/2 cup mung beans
1/4 cup chick peas
1/4 tsp cumin
1 pepper, green, hot
1 salt to taste
1 tbsp coriander leaves
4 tsp vegetable oil

Recipe Directions for mung-chana dosa

  1. soak the mung beans and chick peas for half an hour.

  2. rinse, drain and grind with green chillies and salt.

  3. add water to make thickish batter.

  4. add chopped coriander leaves, cumin.

  5. heat skillet, grease with a little oil, spread one laddle of batter in the middle of the skillet, spread evenly to make a crepe of 8" diameter.

  6. pour a little oil, say a quarter spoon around the perimeter of the crepe, cook for 3 mts, flip over, repeat the oil thing, cook for another 3 mts, remove and serve hot with tomato chutney.
