Thin, crispy homemade crackers. Once you try these, you'll never get those boxed crapkers again! Dry or fresh herbs, about a teaspoon and tablespoon respectively, can be added with the dry ingredients. Parmesan Cheese can also be sprinkled over the top. Experiment and have fun! At worst, you only waste a little flour.

Recipe Ingredients for Multi-Grain Crackers

1/2 cup Brown Rice Flour
1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
2 T Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 t salt, plus more for sprinkling

Recipe Directions for Multi-Grain Crackers

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.

  2. Put dry ingredients in bowl.

  3. Mix in olive oil with fork until mixture looks crumbly.

  4. Add water by tablespoons until dough holds together.

  5. Roll out to 1/8" thick and place on cookie sheet.

  6. Sprinkle with salt to taste.

  7. Bake until golden brown and crisp, anywhere from 10-20 minutes.

  8. Cool and store in an airtight container.

  9. I'm not sure how long they keep, because I've never had them last more than 2 days.
