Recipe Ingredients for Mujadarrah

1 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
1 1tsp Olive Oil
1 1tsp Olive Oil

1 1tsp Olive Oil
1 clove(3 g) Garlic

Recipe Directions for Mujadarrah

Heat olive oil in saute pan. Add onions and cook until translucent. Add mushrooms and continue cooking until onions are caramelized. Put garlic clove through press and add to onion and mushroom just before done. In saucepan put raw mushrooms, dash of salt and just enough water to cover. Cook over medium heat, adding water as needed. Cook until just tender -- about 20 minutes. Let water cook almost away, then add cooked lentils to the onion, caramelized onion mxture. Toss through and add a dash of cumin. Serve hot as main dish or as side dish.
