Easy and light muffins that are great for breakfast!

Recipe Ingredients for Muffins

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 banana, mashed
1 egg white
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tbsp vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 apple, chopped

Recipe Directions for Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. Whisk dry ingredients in large bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl mash bananas and egg whites thoroughly.

  4. Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir until blended. add in chopped apples

  5. Pour mixture into muffin tin.

  6. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven when toothpick can be inserted into centre of muffin and comes out clean.
