Banana muffins with chocolate chips and nuts.

Recipe Ingredients for Muffins -- Banana Chocolate Chip

1 cup white flour
1 cup wheat flour, whole-grain
1 tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/2 cup walnuts
1/3 cup canola oil
1/2 cup skim milk
1 egg
3 bananas

Recipe Directions for Muffins -- Banana Chocolate Chip

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

  2. Mix dry ingredients together

  3. Mash bananas

  4. Whisk oil, milk and egg together

  5. Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients

  6. Spoon into 12 non-stick muffin cups sprayed with Pam

  7. Bake for 16 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean

  8. Let cool in pan for 5 minutes, remove from muffin tin and cool on rack
