Apple and cinnamon muffins - low fat version

Recipe Ingredients for Muffins -- Apple

1 cup white flour
1 cup wheat flour, whole-grain
1 tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
3 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup walnuts
1/3 cup canola oil
1/2 cup skim milk
2 egg whites
2 apples

Recipe Directions for Muffins -- Apple

  1. Mix dry ingredients

  2. Mix wet ingredients

  3. Shred appples

  4. Mix all together until just moistened

  5. Bake at 400 degrees F for 16 minutes

  6. Cool in tin on rack for 5 minutes
