Homemade muffin with part whole wheat, OJ/sugar, safflower oil

Recipe Ingredients for Muffin, Blueberry Oatmeal from recipe

1/2 cup Oats, Regular And Quick And Instant, Unenriched, Dry
1/2 cup Orange Juice
1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup Organics All Purpose Flour Unbleached
48 tsp Organics Sugar
1 1/2 serving Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
4 oz Safflower Oil, Refined, Organic
1 large Egg, White
1 cup raw Blueberries
1 tsp Organics Sugar
1/4 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

Recipe Directions for Muffin, Blueberry Oatmeal from recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Mix orange juice and oats.

  3. Mix flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda.

  4. Stir in beaten egg, then oats and juice, then blueberries.

  5. Spoon into greased muffin tin.

  6. Sprinkle on top with remaining sugar and cinnamon.

  7. Bake 18 to 20 minutes.
