Recipe Ingredients for Mud Bars (5 Cal/gm)

3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
12 oz chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for Mud Bars (5 Cal/gm)

  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and eggs. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to wet mixture and stir in 1 1/3 cups of chocolate chips and nuts.

  2. Bake in 9 inch square pan til done. Top with remaining chocolate chips and spread when melted.
