Recipe Ingredients for Mrs Tee's Minestrone

1/4 cup olive oil
6 plum tomatoes
3 carrots,
2 celery stalks
1 medium zucchini
1 medium red onion
9 ounces cabbage, shredded
5 cloves garlic
9 cup fat free chicken broth
1/2 cup macaroni
16 ounces kidney beans
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 1/2 T dried marjoram
1 T dried parsley

Recipe Directions for Mrs Tee's Minestrone

  1. chop all vegies and sautee in olive oil in stages:

  2. 1- onions, celery, carrots, garlic (15 min)

  3. 2-zucchini (3 Min)

  4. 3cabbage (3 min)

  5. add tomatoes and broth, bring to boil. add pasta cook 10 min. add beans (mash 1/2), cook 5 minutes. Add herbs. Before serving stir in cheese and serve with crsty bread
