Fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil salad in olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing.

Recipe Ingredients for Mozzarella, Basil, TomatoSalad

4 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
12 fresh basil leaves
2 tomatoes, sliced
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Recipe Directions for Mozzarella, Basil, TomatoSalad

  1. Slice mozzarella in thin slices and place on a platter.

  2. Place whole basil leaves on top of each mozzarella slice.

  3. Slice whole tomatoes and place on top of each mozzarella & basil slice.

  4. Pour the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the mozzarella, basil, tomato slices and refrigerate for 30 minutes or more.
