Pasta free alternative to lasagne

Recipe Ingredients for Moussaka

525 grams lean minced beef
25 grams garlic
200 grams zucchini
450 grams eggplant
560 grams Healthy Choice Pasta Sauce
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
3 tsp butter
150 grams gruyere cheese

Recipe Directions for Moussaka

  1. Fry mince

  2. Add garlic and zucchini and fry for 5 minutes

  3. Add pasta sauce and simmer for 20 minutes

  4. Layer mince sauce with .5mm sliced eggplant

  5. Melt butter in saucepan

  6. Add flour and cook for 2 minutes

  7. Add milk slowly to avoid lumps

  8. Add Gruyere and keep stirring until it thickens sufficiently

  9. Pour over layered eggplant and mince

  10. Cook in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes
