Recipe Ingredients for moussaka- from bbc good food

300 g carrots
320 g aubergines
500 g beef mince
170 g Fresh Chopped Onions
8 g Chopped Garlic
2 Tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 eggs
1 tbsp cornflour
300 g Natural Greek Style Yoghurt
50 g cheddar cheese
2 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for moussaka- from bbc good food

  1. Fry onions with garlic, add carrots , add mince and cook a little.Add spices and oregano , salt and pepper and cook for about an hour.

  2. bkae aubergines at 200 degrees about 20 minutes until soft. Slice aubergines and place on greased baking tray.brush with 1tbsp oilve oil and 1tbsp lemonjuice mix. Sprinkle a little pepper and salt.

  3. spoon 1/2 meat mixture into greased ovenproof dish, place aubergines, slightly overlapping. Spread over balance of meat mixture.

  4. Beat eggs in bowl. Slacken cornflour with a little yoghurt and then add balance of yoghurt. Mix this with beaten eggs and 1/2 of cheese. Pour this mixture over and sprinkle balance of cheese and bake for 1 hour at 180 degrees.

  5. Serve with salad
