A classic, but very simple French dish.

Recipe Ingredients for Moules à la Marinière

1000 grams Mussel
1 tbsp Olive Oil
45 grams Wine, Table, White
1 small Onions
1 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
1 clove Garlic
1 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
30 grams Creme Fraiche
4 tbsp Parsley
1 tbsp Butter

Recipe Directions for Moules à la Marinière

  1. 1. Wash and scrub the mussels, remove ?beards? and thorw away any that are open.

  2. 2. Place the olive oil in a large pan ? heat gently and add mussels.

  3. 3. Season with salt and pepper, stir mussels with wooden spoon.

  4. 4. Add the shredded vegetables and crushed garlic.

  5. 5. Add white wine, stir and cover pan.

  6. 6. Simmer until the mussels open, add crème fraîche, boil once.

  7. 7. Add the butter and ripped parsley then serve.
