Recipe Ingredients for Morrocan Barley Chickpea Salad

1 1/2 cups barley
1 1/2 cups chicken or veggie broth
1 1/2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
15 ounce of chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed and strained
1 cup diced dried apricots
2 chopped green onions or scallions
1 cup chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
1/8 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon turmeric

Recipe Directions for Morrocan Barley Chickpea Salad

Cook the barley. Mix the stuff up. Add Olive oil and lemon juice. Eat it. Supposed to have pistachios. I didn't have any.
