Recipe Ingredients for Moroccan Slow Cooker Stew

1 serving Cooking Spray All Varieties
1 small Onions
0.5 serving Garlic Cloves
4 cup, cubes Squash, Winter, Butternut
1 cup, chopped Carrots
0.5 cup Vegetable Broth
234 4/5 grams Diced Tomatoes
0.58 grams Cinnamon, Ground
0.5 tsp Cumin
1 serving red pepper flakes
15 oz Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds, Canned
0.5 tsp Sea Salt

Recipe Directions for Moroccan Slow Cooker Stew

Coat skillet with cooking spray. Add onion and garlic; saute for 5 minutes. Place squash in a 3-quart or larger slow cooker or crockpot. Add sauteed onion and garlic, carrots, tomatoes, broth, cinnamon, cumin and red pepper flakes. Cover and turn on to low heat; simmer for 6 hours. Add chicpeas and salt. Stir, cover and heat for an additional 5 minutes.
