Simple and delicious. Can be served with couscous or rice, or alone.

Recipe Ingredients for Moroccan Mushrooms

1 red onion, sliced
1 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp ground cumin
300 g mushrooms, quartered
400 g Tomatoes
410 g can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1 tsp clear honey
1 tbsp sugar

Recipe Directions for Moroccan Mushrooms

  1. Fry the onion in the oil for 6 minutes until softened.

  2. Add the cinnamon and cumin and cook for 1 minutes, stirring .

  3. Add the mushrooms, cook for 2 minutes, then stir in the tomatoes, chickpeas, and honey. Season and simmer for 7-8 minutes.
