Moroccan Chickpea Salad 1/4 = 1 serving (50g)

Recipe Ingredients for Moroccan Chickpea - 1/4 Cup Serving

4 cups onion, diced
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon dried chilies, crushed
1 teaspoon cumin, ground
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic, chopped
154 g tomato paste
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
4 1/2 cups chickpeas

Recipe Directions for Moroccan Chickpea - 1/4 Cup Serving

  1. Saute Onions in Olive Oil with spices

  2. Add Garlic after 10 minutes, cook for 2 - 3 minutes then add tomatoe paste.

  3. Cook for 5 more minutes then mix herbs, chickpea and onion mixture together.
