From AppForHealth.com: This Swiss-style Muesli has a zillion variations but the general gist is to combine raw oats with dried fruit and let it soak in fruit juice or milk until the oats and dried fruit are plump and softened.

Recipe Ingredients for Morning Muesli

2 cups Old Fashioned Oats

3/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup evaporated milk

1/4 cup coconut flakes

8 oz nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
 (oz)
4 oz berries

Recipe Directions for Morning Muesli

  1. Combine oats with all other ingredients and stir to ensure that the oats are coated with milk.

  2. Put in an airtight container and refrigerate for 8-12 hours.

  3. In the a.m., combine 1/2 to 1 cup of the muesli mix with 1/4 -1/2 cup nonfat yogurt and 1/2 cup of fresh fruit (chopped apple, berries, banana, citrus, etc) of your choice and then sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
