A quick thick smoothie that will take an hour to drink and will sustain you for a lot longer.

Recipe Ingredients for Morning Banana Smoothie

1 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
1 cup, halves Strawberries
1 cup Oats, Regular And Quick And Instant, Unenriched

Recipe Directions for Morning Banana Smoothie

  1. Peel and cut the banana then freeze over night. The frozen banana will give the smoothie a creamy texture and a cold tempreture.

  2. The day of remove the banna from the freezer. IN a blender, grind the oats to s fine powder then remove the oats and cook then according to packaging instructions (this step can be skipped and you can just grind the pats and continue but i find that leaving them uncooked gives the oats an undesirable powdery taste) after cooking refrigerate the oats untill the final step

  3. Using the ice crush setting on a blender, crush the banana. if at any point the banana gets caught in the blades of the blender, add some water to loosen the smoothie or scoop out the excess banana.

  4. Blend untill the banna devlops a thick creamy texture then slowly (one by one) add the strawberries, if blending becomes difficult add more water but be consrvitive, remember the oats have a lot of moister in them.

  5. Add the chilled oats to the blender and blend until smooth
