36 g pork, cured, bacon, diced
1 cup onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 small carrot, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced [11215&size=3]
28 ounce stewed tomatoes
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
6 cups chicken stock
15 ounce red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
15 ounce cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
15 ounce garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 1/2 cups pasta, small shells

  1. Saute bacon 5 minutes.

  2. Add onion & celery. Cook 5 min.

  3. Add carrot & garlic. Cook 2 min.

  4. Add tomatoes, parsley, chicken stock, beans, basil, oregano. Cook 20 min.

  5. Add pasta. Cook 8 minutes.
