This is a flavor from my favorite smoothie shop. It's called Bananaberry, and it's loaded with vitamin C. It's great to sip as I browse the mall, but it's also wonderful on a hot day.

Recipe Ingredients for More-Than Fruit Smothie

2 cups fresh strawberries
1/2 cup blueberries
1 cup of raspberries
1/2 cup pineapple
2 ripe bananas
3 cups ice

Recipe Directions for More-Than Fruit Smothie

  1. Place 1 cup strawberries in a sieve.

  2. Add blueberries raspberries, and pineapple. Use a potatoe masher to drain the juices. Collect the juices in a tupperware container. Save berries.

  3. Soak remaining strawberries overnight.

  4. Place soaked strawberries, with juice, into a blender with the ice and bananas. Run on high until mixture is smooth.

  5. Add the drained berries to the blender. Run again until smoth.
