Chinese-style chicken for rice or chinese pancakes

Recipe Ingredients for Moo Shu Chicken

12 oz Chicken
1 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
0.5 cup, chopped Carrots
5 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1/2 cup chopped raw Napa Cabbage
1 cup, chopped Cabbage, Red
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
6 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
0.17 tbsp Fish Sauce
1 oz Sake Wine (16% alcohol)
0.5 tbsp Thai Chili Roasted Garlic Dipping Sauce
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola

Recipe Directions for Moo Shu Chicken

  1. Marinade chicken in 1 T soy sauce, the sake, the chili garlic dip, and fish sauce.

  2. Heat sesame oil and canola oil in wok or large sautee pan.

  3. Cut chicken into thin strips and sautee until outside is cooked. Reserve marinade.

  4. Thinly slice/julienne carrots, onions and mushrooms and sautee for 3-5 min until mushrooms begin to tender.

  5. Thinly slice cabbages and mix into pan.

  6. Combine the reserved marinade, remaining soy sauce, and Hoisin, mixing well.

  7. Pour over chicken and vegetables in Wok. Cook on medium to reduce sauce.

  8. In a separate sautee pan, scramble eggs. Once cooked add to wok.

  9. Cook on medium for about 10 min or until sauce begins to cook down.

  10. Serve with sticky rice, tortillas or chinese pancakes.
