Cabbage leaves stuffed with hamburger and covered in tomato juice and sauerkraut.

Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Stuffed Cabbage

1 lb hamburger
2 1/2 cups sauerkraut
2 cups v-8 juice
4 cabbage leaves
1/2 cup white rice
1/4 cup onion
1/4 cup green pepper
1 large egg
2 tbsp barbecue sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Recipe Directions for Mom's Stuffed Cabbage

  1. Mix hamburger, green pepper, onion, white rice, egg, barbecue sauce and Worcestershire sauce together, take a blanched cabbage leaf and wrap it around 1/4 of the meet mixture, put in baking pan. Repeat four times then cover all four with tomato juice.

  2. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
