1/3 of mom's pie crust recipe; since recipe makes 3 pie crusts

Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Pumpkin Pie

1 cup flour
1/3 cup lard
2 1/3 eggs
15 oz can pumpkin
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
12 fl oz Carnation Evaporated Milk

Recipe Directions for Mom's Pumpkin Pie

  1. Pie Crust

  2. 3 cups flour

  3. 1 cup lard

  4. pinch salt

  5. Mix these 3 ingredients with pastry blender

  6. 1 beaten egg

  7. 1/3 cup water

  8. 1 Tbsn vinegar

  9. Mix these 3 ingredients together then add to flour mixture. Chill then roll out on wax paper with flour. Mix pumpkin according to can recipe. Pour in pie shell and bake according to can directions.
