Light, Golden, and Fluffy Pancakes

Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Pancakes

1 cup flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup 1% milk
2 tbsp margarine
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Mom's Pancakes

Mix all dry ingredients together. Make a well in the center of dry ingredients. Add 1 cup of milk slowly to the hole in the middle while stirring. Add melted butter and egg, mix well. Preheat a griddle at 350 degrees, put a pat of butter or margarine on the griddle and allow it to spread around until melted. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto preheated griddle. Flip pancake after bubbles form all over the top of the pancake. Allow to cook on other side for about 2 more minutes, checking for doneness. (until golden brown)
