Mom's Meatloaf Recipe

Total comfort food... substitute ground turkey but make sure it's cooked through.

Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Meatloaf

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/4 cup skim milk
1 egg
1 medium onion, minced
3 tablespoons tomato paste

Recipe Directions for Mom's Meatloaf

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Mix all of the ingredients except ground beef and tomato paste thoroughly in a small bowl.

  3. Mix the above mixture thoroughly into ground beef.

  4. Form into a loaf and place it in an 8" x 8" dish.

  5. Spread tomato paste over top of meatloaf.

  6. Cook for 45-60 minutes, depending on oven.
