Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Meat Pies

4 lbs extra lean ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1 lb ground veal
2 medium onions, minced
1/4 tsp sage
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Mom's Meat Pies

  1. Heat ingredients over low heat until meat has lost its pink. Add water if necessary. Cool.

  2. Put into pastry shell and cover with top crust.

  3. Brush tops with egg whites. Bake 400 F for 40 minutes.
