Recipe Ingredients for mom's meat loaf

1 egg, lightly beaten
5 1/2 oz. V8 juice
1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
32 grams onion soup mix
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 lbs. extra lean ground beef
1/3 cup ketchup

Recipe Directions for mom's meat loaf

  1. In a large bowl, combine the egg, V8 juice, bread crumbs, soup mix, cheese and garlic powder. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Pat into an ungreased 9-in. x 5-in. loaf pan.

  2. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Spread ketchup over top; bake 5-10 minutes longer or until no pink remains and a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees.
