Grandma Friedman's recipe for yummy meat loaf!

Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Meat Loaf

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
3/4 cups milk
1 egg
1 cup yellow onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, finely chopped
1 tsp horseradish
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Mom's Meat Loaf

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together the oatmeal and milk, and let sit for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, mix all the other ingredients together, except the meat. Add the oatmeal/milk mixture with the other ingredients and stir. Mix the total mixture and meat with hands or in a stand mixer. Mold into loaf shape. Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
