Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Hurt Your Teeth Cocoa Fudge

3 cups sugar
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup cocoa
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Mom's Hurt Your Teeth Cocoa Fudge

  1. Spread some soft butter along the top and about an inch down from a saucepan

  2. Into the pan put the sugar and cocoa. Stir together until combined.

  3. Ad the milk slowly, whisking to make sure everything mixes well.

  4. Heat over medium heat until bubbling, cook stirring occasionally until it reaches soft ball stage.

  5. Remove from heat and add butter, salt and vanilla.

  6. Stir/beat until it starts to lose its gloss. Pour into butter, 9" square pan. Score the top into 16 pieces.
