Simple granola bars to replace the packaged kind

Recipe Ingredients for Mom`s Granola Bars

2 cups oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup maple syrup
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Mom`s Granola Bars

Mix together all ingredients. Press into 9x13" pan which was lined with foil and lightly oiled. Back at 350 for 25mins. Cool and cut into 24 bars.
