Delicious and easy dinner rolls that are ready to eat in less than 2 hours.

Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Famous Dinner Rolls - Wheat

280 ml warm water
1/4 c sugar
1/3 c canola oil
2 T yeast
3/4 tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
4 c whole wheat flour
1/8 c butter

Recipe Directions for Mom's Famous Dinner Rolls - Wheat

  1. In kitchenaid bowl combine water, sugar, oil and yeast. Allow to proof for 10 minutes.

  2. Add salt and egg and mix well.

  3. Add flour 1 C at a time. Add enough flour to make a soft dough.

  4. Shape dough into rolls and top with melter butter. Allow to raise until double in size.

  5. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Top with remaining melted butter.

  6. Serve warm.
