Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Crockpot Marinara Sauce

1 tbsp Olive Oil
3 Garlic Cloves, Minced
6 oz Tomato Paste, Canned
1 Yellow Onion, Whole
30 oz Tomato Puree, Canned
60 oz Tomato Sauce, Canned
1 tbsp Sugar
6 oz Parmesan/Romano Cheese (3/4 Cup)
1 tsp Salt (to taste)
1 tsp Black Pepper (to taste)

Recipe Directions for Mom's Crockpot Marinara Sauce

  1. Heat oil in pan and saute garlic til soft. Stir in tomato paste and cook until orange in color.

  2. Transfer mixture to crock pot. Add tomato puree, tomato sauce, yellow onion (whole), sugar, cheese to crock pot.

  3. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Let cook on high for 6 hours.
