1/2 cup salad dressing, mayonnaise, soybean and safflower oil
1/2 cup (organic valley) regular sour cream
1/4 cup white vinegar, distilled
1/8 cup organic brown sugar
1 1/4 english cucumber, sliced
1/3 red onion, sliced

Recipe Directions for Mom's Creamed Cucumbers and Onions

  1. combine salad dressing, sour cream, vinegar and sugar in a bowl large enough to hold the sauce and vegetables (and that had a tight-fitting lid).

  2. Add sliced cucumbers and onions and stir to combine.

  3. Place the lid on the bowl and refrigerate at least 30 minutes for the flavors to combine.

  4. Keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
