Makes 20 servings



A time honored Foster classic salad for Thanksgiving and Christmas. You can add a few miniature marshmallows at Christmas to make it look a bit more festive.

Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Cranberry Salad

6 ounces strawberry jello
32 ounces cranberry sauce
2 cups diced apples
1/3 cup orange juice
1 cup walnuts
20 ounces crushed pineapple

Recipe Directions for Mom's Cranberry Salad

  1. 1. Place jello in large bowl and pour 2 cups of boiling water over it and mix well.

  2. 2. Add the 2 cans of whole berry cranberry sauce and mix well.

  3. 3. Drain crushed pineapple well.

  4. 4. Add 1 1/2 cups of juice- the juice from the crushed pineapple and some additional orange juice to make 1 1/2 cups and pour in mixture.

  5. 5. Add chopped apples, pineapples and walnuts and mix well.

  6. 6. Refrigerate over night and then enjoy!
