Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Coffee Cake

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup applesauce
2 eggs
1 cup 1% milk
3 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup brown sugar
4 tbsp flour
4 tsp cinnamon
4 tbsp butter

Recipe Directions for Mom's Coffee Cake

  1. preheat oven to 350 and spray a 9x13 pan

  2. mix sugar, applesauce, eggs, milk, flour, baking powder, and salt in large bowl

  3. mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter in small bowl

  4. spread half of batter mixture in pan then top with half of brown sugar mixture

  5. spread remaining batter then remaining brown sugar mixture on top

  6. bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
