Recipe Ingredients for Mom's clam and tomato sauce

4 bacon
2 tblsp olive oil
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
14 oz can tomatoes
142 g baby clams
1/2 tsp oregano

Recipe Directions for Mom's clam and tomato sauce

  1. Cook bacon. Drain.

  2. Soften onions and garlic in bacon fat or olive oil.

  3. Add tomatoes and their liquid and simmer. Rinse out can with pasta water. Add oregano.

  4. Add clams and their liquid, heat through.
