chopped liver pate...the only one I'll eat...kosher for passover and other jewish holidays

Recipe Ingredients for mom's chopped liver

16 oz Beef Liver
12 large Egg, Whole
48 oz Onions
6 oz Real Mayonnaise
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
0.5 oz Coarse Kosher Salt

Recipe Directions for mom's chopped liver

coarsely chop onions and salt to let water while carmelizing in oil. cut liver into strips and steam on top of onions until pink color is gone, then stir in the pan 2-3 minutes and drain till cool enough to handle. feed into coarse meat grinder alternating with cooled hard boiled eggs (do not use food processor or texture will be different) stir together with mayo a little at a time until desired consistency is achieved. salt and pepper to taste
