Homemade chili-- just the way Mom used to make it!

Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Chili

8 oz dark red kidney beans
8 oz chili beans
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 cup onion, chopped
16 oz canned tomatoes
6 oz canned tomato paste
1 cup green pepper, chopped
1 pound raw ground beef

Recipe Directions for Mom's Chili

  1. Brown ground beef, green pepper, and onion in a 10" skillet over medium-high heat. Drain.

  2. Add mixture to crock pot and empty all cans of beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, etc. Add seasonings and mix well. Cook on low heat for 8-10 hours.
