Mom's Blueberry Scones Recipe

This was originally a Blueberry Scone (hence the name) but I used cranberries instead (hence the recipe)

Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Blueberry Scones

2 cups flour
1/3 cup cornmeal
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup cream
2 eggs
1 cup dried cranberries

Recipe Directions for Mom's Blueberry Scones

  1. Mix the dry ingredients

  2. Cut in very cold butter

  3. Mix eggs and cream and add to flour butter mixture

  4. Shape dough into a flat round and cut into wedges like a pie.

  5. Cook for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees F
