Recipe Directions for Mom's beef potpie

  1. cook beef day before and place in fridge for fat to congeal.

  2. Skim fat off top of cooled beef.

  3. Mix flour, eggs and water to make dough. Roll out and cut to desired shapes. Animal shapes can make a zoo, my son loves that.

  4. Cook potatoes and carrots until tender. Place rolled and cut dough in boiling broth and cook for 10 more min. Serve.
