Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Banana Bread

1/3 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
4 medium bananas
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

Recipe Directions for Mom's Banana Bread

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, then vanilla. Continue beating until smooth. Add dry ingredients alternately with mashed bananas and applesauce. Bake at 350°F in greased loaf pan for approximately one hour.
