Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Banana Bread

1 cup Sugars, Granulated
8 tbsp Unsalted Butter
2 large Egg, Whole
3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
1/5 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
2 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Table Salt
1/2 cup Dried Cranberries

Recipe Directions for Mom's Banana Bread

  1. Preheat the oven to 325. Butter a 9x5x3 loaf pan.

  2. Cream the sugar and butter in large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well.

  3. In a small bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Mix in the milk and cinnamon. In another bowl, mix the flour together, baking powder, soda and salt.

  4. Add the banana mixture to the creamed mixture and stir until combined.

  5. Add dry ingredients, mixing just until the flour disappears.

  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 1 hour to 1:10 until a toothpick comes out clean.

  7. Set aside to cool for 15 minutes. Remove bread from pan, invert onto rack and cool completely before slicing.
